Hydro-Shear
Mixer
Mixing
lime into water in a coal mine to lower the pH level replacing
an Aqua shear feeding lime via a screw feeder under a 30 tonne
hopper. Mixing paint, sucking all the ingredients into the Hydro
Mixer to make paint, improving health & safety, quality control,
and production time. Sucking fly ash out of hoppers in power stations
during maintenance or breakdown situations. The removal of fly
ash is a major health problem. They now connect the Melbourne
Hydro Shear Mixer to their fire service hydrant, and can suck
not only the fly ash but the oxide formed on the walls of the
hoppers and in between the flutes of the screw feeders without
any dust on the inlet or outlet end. The outlet of the Hydro Shear
Mixer discharges to the fly ash drainage system.
